It is a printing technique, and it is the process of transferring the shadow image of the original drawing (document) prepared on a light-permeable layer, on a paper whose surface is covered with a light-sensitive chemical substance, under a strong light. It is often used in blueprint copying. A copier is a device for quickly and inexpensively duplicating a variety of documents and other visual materials. It has been stated by the Turkish Language Institution that the word facsimile is an appropriate equivalent. Generally, these workplaces also serve as digital printing centers. Digital printing is the printing technique of designs and photographs prepared in electronic environment, without human touch, in a high quality and fast manner, thanks to advanced printing technologies.
