Printing Houses
A printing house is an organization that performs the work of reproducing texts and images, usually by printing them on surfaces such as paper. A printing press, which is an Arabic word, means the place where printing works are carried out. For the first time in history, the printing press was used in China in 593. The printing house was moved to Europe in 1450. Ibrahim Müteferrika also founded the first Turkish printing house on December 16, 1727. We can define a printing press as a machine or system that prints articles, pictures, or certain shapes using a special technique on various materials such as paper, leather, fabric, and can quickly convert them into multiple copies. We can list the types of printing presses as Typo printing, Offset flat printing, Tifdruk pit printing, Flexo printing, Silk screen screen printing and Digital printing.
