Printing House (Printing House) It is the name given to the machines or systems that print text, pictures or figures on materials such as paper, leather, fabric in a special way and make multiple copies. Printing house, also known as printing machine, is a word of Arabic origin. It is used in the meanings such as printing house, printing place, printing tool. The first printing house in Turkey was established in Istanbul in 1493 by Jews who immigrated from Spain. The first Turkish printing house was established by İbrahim Müteferrika in 1727. First of all, linotype and rotary printing techniques were used in printing houses, then at the end of the 1950s, intaglio printing techniques were used, and at the end of the 1960s, offset printing techniques were used.
